Accessibility
Accessibility statement.
We design and build websites to be usable by everyone, and we hold our own site to the same standard.

Our commitment
Same Brain Creative wants everyone to be able to read, navigate and use samebraincreative.com regardless of ability, device or assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we design and build for clients, and this site is held to the same standard.
Standard we work to
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines cover perceivability, operability, understandability and robustness for people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control and other assistive technologies.
What we do
Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmarks. Full keyboard operability with visible focus states. Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text (3:1 for large headings). Text that can be resized to 200% without loss of content. Alternative text for meaningful images and captions or descriptions for video. Reduced-motion alternatives for animation, including the homepage video. Forms with labels, instructions and clear error messages. Testing with automated tools (Lighthouse, axe) and manual checks with keyboard and screen readers.
Known limitations
Some of the places we link to are built and maintained by other companies, so their accessibility is outside our control: the Google Calendar page used to book a consultation, and the LinkedIn profiles linked from our About and Contact pages. The founders' portfolio sites, marie.samebraincreative.com and chris.samebraincreative.com, are separate sites and are not covered by this statement.
If any of these stops you from reaching us, email info@samebraincreative.com and we will take it from there ourselves.
Feedback and help
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or need content in another format, email info@samebraincreative.com. Please tell us the page and what went wrong; we aim to respond within two business days and to fix genuine barriers quickly.
Assessment
This statement is based on self-assessment by Same Brain Creative using automated testing and manual review. We review it when the site changes significantly and at least once a year.
